Akronos Technologies, a leading Italian company in hi‑tech engineering innovation and services, is looking for an Electro‑Optical System Engineer.

Role

Electro‑Optical System Engineer – Defence – place of work: Roma.

Responsibilities
  • Defining technical requirements for space and defence systems.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and system requirements.
  • Designing electrooptical components and system.
  • Supporting laboratory testing activities.
  • Contributing to the preparation and review of technical documentation for the system and components.
  • Participating in project meetings, both internal and external, involving customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferably in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role or with electro‑optical systems.
  • Knowledge of Defence and Aerospace standards.
  • Experience in technical documentation development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Italian or other European languages are a plus.
