Responsibilities

• As an Infrastructure Specialist, you directly support clients to transform their business by addressing with innovative solutions their System and Infrastructure needs. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM and non-IBM, Cloud and on-premises platforms.
• You will manage cloud infrastructure or action for move to cloud implementation; act as a technical liaison among IT Architects, IT Analysts, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
• Following a well-structured implementation process, you will work with customer requirements gathering, understand risks and client pain points, carry out a PoC implementation, and drive the development toward a baseline solution.
• Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, bringing innovation into enterprise systems. You will have access to the latest education, tools and technology, and a career path within the world’s technology leader company.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong experience and knowledge of AWS
• Understanding of Cloud Component services in Compute, Storage, Networking and Monitoring of Applications
• Provisioning infrastructure considering cloud native architecture and deployment models
• Performs Infrastructure as Code provisioning and creation of sandbox environment
• Applies knowledge of Storage, Compute, Security Services
• Administration of hybrid cloud environment, Configuration of HA / DR
• Understands SLA management, services health management and key metrics monitoring
• Creates Container Platform Cluster, DevOps Toolchain
• Knowledge of one or more cloud services (AWS Platform, Azure Platform, Google Platform, IBM Cloud Platform or Red Hat Platform)
• Understand of DevOps practices
• Good Knowledge of languages like Go or Python
• Experience as a System Administrator
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation about solution design
• Intermediate knowledge of English language
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• In particular, are very appreciated :
• Certifications in a public Cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google, IBM Cloud)
• Certifications in orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes, RH OpenShift)
• Competencies about Infrastructure as Code
• Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
