A leading industrial equipment manufacturer located in Ornago, Italy, is seeking an experienced professional to oversee operational management of international shipments. The successful candidate will manage import/export compliance, liaise with stakeholders to ensure efficient deliveries, and utilize ERP systems. Candidates should possess a degree in Economics or Logistics and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of customs regulations. A strong analytical and problem-solving capability is essential, alongside excellent English communication skills. This role emphasizes an inclusive work environment.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Operational management of international shipments (export/import), including preparation and verification of customs documentation
• Act as Import and Export compliance manager
• Management of preferential and non-preferential origin
• Coordination with customs brokers for CBAM declarations
• Liaison with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
• Monitoring and optimization of logistics and customs costs
• Management of temporary imports and customs consultancy
• Support in obtaining and maintaining AEO status and in submitting documents for duty refunds
• Forecasting and periodic reporting for management
• Control of permits for exceptional transports and validation of procedures with the Chamber of Commerce (CCIAA)
• Archiving and retrieval of documents through company digital systems
• Collaboration with Sales and other departments to provide data and qualifications requested by clients
• Degree in Economics, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields;
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in industrial contexts with a strong export focus;
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and import/export processes;
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and logistics management tools;
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus;
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
