A global semiconductor company is seeking an HW Designer to define and implement a strategy for a hardware demonstrator using matrix computing. The ideal candidate should possess basic knowledge of simulation tools, electronics, and matrix algebra, along with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. This role is full-time and based on-site in Catania, Italy, with a duration of 4-6 months, offering a collaborative environment for innovation.

YOUR ROLE

Define and implement a strategy for a hardware demonstrator exploiting matrix computing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement the most suitable way to solve an algebraic (or differential) equation key of a motor control/robotic problem by means of matrix computing.
• Implement a programmable analog network whose topology is able to solve any problem belonging to the same class of the identified application.
• Compare the method with a traditional approach and highlight the difference in terms of costs and computation time.
