The HR Manager will lead the HR function with a strong focus on labor law compliance, employee engagement, organizational development, and Trade Union negotiations.
- HR Leadership
- Define and execute the HR strategy in line with the company's goals and growth plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on workforce planning, organizational structure, and succession planning.
- Drive culture initiatives to foster employee commitment, engagement, and alignment with company values.
- Industrial & Union Relations
- Lead all aspects of labor relations, including direct negotiations with Trade Unions and management of collective bargaining agreements.
- Maintain constructive relationships with employee representatives and external labor bodies.
- Prepare for and lead union negotiations and ensure full compliance with Italian employment law.
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee contracts, payroll interface, disciplinary procedures, and health & safety coordination.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are legally compliant and clearly communicated.
- Talent & Performance Management
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Manage performance appraisal processes and internal mobility programs.
- Design and deliver training initiatives.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the internal HR/payroll team.
- Promote a collaborative, ethical, and safety-first HR culture.
Competenze ed esperienza
This role requires a hands-on HR Generalist with deep knowledge of Italian industrial relations and experience navigating complex unionized environments.
- 3+ years of experience in a senior HR role within a manufacturing or industrial company.
- Proven expertise in Trade Union relations and collective labor agreement negotiations.
- Deep understanding of Italian labor law and employment regulations.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Law, or related field.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement environments.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and data reporting tools.
