HR Director - H 25-515

Location: Reggio Emilia

The division HR Director will partner closely with the global Division leadership team to develop workforce and talent strategies as well as global HR solutions in areas such as organization and workforce effectiveness, talent and leadership development and employee engagement to meet business goals. This individual will work closely with other groups (HR Operations, CoE) to develop HR strategy and policy as well as people programs to enable the company to attract, develop and retain high-caliber employees.

Responsibilities
  • Acts as a strategic HR leader and trusted advisor to the Division Leader, managers, and supervisors across the assigned Line of Business;
  • Ensures HR strategy is aligned with the overall strategy of the corporation as well as with the Division’s strategic plans and operational objectives.
  • Drives, together with divisional leadership team, to build a high-performing, diverse, and agile workforce capable of delivering results in a dynamic market environment;
  • Leads and direct HR initiatives and global projects with Business HR team in the regions, make sure goals are aligned;
  • Partnering with global Division leadership to develop workforce and talent plans, in order to meet business goals;
  • Develops workforce and talent strategy as well as HR policy and programs at the division level in partnership with Community of Expertise (CoE);
  • Drives and implement global HR initiatives and solutions across the Division;
  • Leads division-specific HR solutions related to leadership / talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and workforce effectiveness;
  • Coaches Managers to develop capability in talent management and development, guide them in the right direction with action plan put in place;
  • Serves as a liaison between managers / employees and HR Services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR support;
  • Works closely with Communities of Expertise (CoE) to manage labor relations issues including Union / Works Council contract negotiations where required and Compliance (legal, corporate policy & procedures);
  • Acts as a change agent, promoting and leading change management initiatives within the Division and broader HR organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, law or similar and master’s in business management and / or HR related field;
  • At least 10 years’ experience in progressively managerial HR roles in integrated Business units or companies; a solid HR track-record in industrial organizations and in leading important change management, innovation and integration processes;
  • A deep experience in manufacturing companies and operations with good understanding of total business value chain and proven ability to develop the HRM function, creating efficiency and integrating different skills, while constantly communicating with top management;
  • Strong sense of teamwork, absolute integrity, entrepreneurship and a great focus on results;
  • Ability to lead the organization with authority, demonstrating leadership and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • The ideal candidate is an empowering leader that has a clear vision and who enables other leaders to lead;
  • Travel requirement: estimated 15%
