Key Responsibilities

The role involves supporting engineering activities by applying established principles and methods, collecting, verifying, and correlating technical data, and contributing to design work, technical studies, and report drafting. It includes performing calculations, simulations, and preliminary analyses, as well as preparing technical documentation and project specifications.

The position requires coordination with other technical professionals, developing and verifying project control documents, and providing specialist consultancy in Health & Safety for national and international projects. Responsibilities also include conducting field visits and audits to ensure HS compliance, carrying out technical due diligence, and drafting specialist documents such as Risk Assessment Reports, Safety and Coordination Plans, Fire Risk Assessments, and Emergency Plans.

Additionally, the role involves developing and updating HSE management systems and operational procedures, organizing HSE training events, offering technical support to WSP clients throughout all project phases, and participating in meetings with authorities and stakeholders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in safety, civil, or environmental engineering, with specific experience in workplace and construction site safety. They should have at least 5-6 years of experience in safety coordination, fire prevention design, and H&S technical consultancy, alongside excellent knowledge of sector regulations and proficiency in key IT tools such as Office and AutoCAD.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in technical contexts, fluency in English, and a multidisciplinary, team‑oriented approach are essential. The role also requires precision, proactivity, organizational skills, and a willingness to take on cross‑functional tasks, all while upholding professional ethics and demonstrating alignment with WSP's core values.
