Head of Sales & Booking
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Lucca, Tuscany – Italy / Monthly on-site presence required)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Head of Sales & Booking who is a strategist, a tech‑savvy leader, and a “vacation‑rental rockstar” who knows that a booking is more than a calendar entry. You will manage 5,000+ bookings per year, lead a team of four, and bridge hospitality and technology.
THE MISSION
- Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor the booking team, ensuring high conversion rates and guest satisfaction.
- Tech & Automation: Leverage APIs, PMS features, and scripts to automate pre‑/during/post‑booking processes. If it can be automated, you will build the workflow.
- Revenue Strategy: Drive pricing decisions, analyze booking pace, and report direct to the board with data‑driven insights.
- Growth & Innovation: Onboard 50+ new listings per year and open new sales channels (B2B agencies, tour operators, wedding sector).
- Operations Master: Master OTAs (Airbnb, Booking, VRBO) and hack their algorithms for visibility.
THE PROFILE (Requirements)
- Experience: 5+ years of mandatory experience in the non‑hotel/vacation‑rental sector.
- Tech Stack: Fluency in PMS, channel manager, API, OTA. Proficiency with Avantio (or similar). Ability to script or build automations with Zapier, etc.
- Data‑Driven: Comfortable with Excel/CSV, KPIs and reporting. Predictive seasonality analysis skills.
- Remote‑Ready: Proven ability to work autonomously from home; available to travel to Lucca HQ for a few days each month.
- Language: Italian speaker with flawless English.
