La DoubleJ is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Client Development to join our team in Milano.

Role Overview

The Head of Client Development will lead the strategic initiative and execution of client acquisition and relationship management for La DoubleJ across all touchpoints. This role is pivotal in cultivating long-term relationships with all clients, spearheading the growth and retention of top-tier clientele, while enhancing the brand’s prestige and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Mission: Effectively design, implement, and execute a program to recruit, retain, and engage La DoubleJ clients across all tiers and channels globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and implement a clienteling strategy across all channels.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor a dynamic client database, ensuring accurate profiling, segmentation, and personalized outreach.
  • Design and execute a recruitment program in partnership with Retail and Online teams.
  • Define LDJ brand guidelines for a consistent client treatment across all channels, partnering with Retail and Sales teams.
  • Set clear performance goals and foster a culture of excellence and personalized service. Monitor and report on client development metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Go-To Market and Merchandising teams to tailor offerings and experiences that meet client expectations and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Represent the brand at exclusive events, networking opportunities, and industry gatherings to expand the brand’s reach and influence.
  • Oversee client feedback mechanisms and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction along with feedback for all company functions.
  • Personal Styling
  • Lead and mentor a team of stylists to deliver exceptional, tailored experiences.
  • Curate personalized product selections and styling sessions based on client preferences, lifestyle, and purchase history aligned with the overarching commercial calendar of the company.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of appointments (physical and virtual), follow-ups, and post-purchase engagement and customer service.
  • Plan, execute, and host high-impact trunk shows and private events in collaboration with Retail and Marketing teams, to showcase new collections and drive client engagement across countries, markets and seasons.
  • Partner with Merchandising, VM and Events teams to align product presentation with brand storytelling including the development of VIC ‘exclusives’.
  • Build and manage guest lists, invitations, and VIP hospitality to ensure a luxurious and memorable experience.
  • LDJ VIC Program
  • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Create a unique program to recruit, retain and engage top clients, ensuring exclusive privileges and ‘money can’t buy’ experiences.
  • Drive sales growth through bespoke client engagements and personalized LDJ initiatives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing client development team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail, Marketing, Merchandising and Go-To Market teams to align client and brand strategies.
  • Provide training and development programs to elevate client service standards across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in luxury retail, fashion, or hospitality, with a focus on clienteling or relationship management.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition, management and VIC exceptional service.
  • Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and expectations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in organizing high-end events and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and client analytics.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.
