We are seeking a Ground Segment Engineer.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent;
• Experience with earth observation ground segment systems;
• Knowledge of system engineering processes, EO mission programming, control segment functions, ground stations (S-Band, X-Band), production management, and RADAR principles;
• Knowledge of optical principles and image processing is a plus;
• Familiarity with AI, Big Data, and deep learning;
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++;
• Knowledge of microservices, DevOps, and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
• Team-oriented, proactive problem solver, interested in innovative technologies;
• Willingness to travel.

Main Responsibilities (Ground Segment Engineering and Architectures):

• Analyze system-level documentation and define requirements;
• Ensure proper flow-down and traceability of requirements using tools like DOORS and Polarion;
• Evaluate design solutions for satellite constellation management in multi-mission environments;
• Define overall Ground Segment architecture and interfaces;
• Develop mission planning components and ground segment elements for EO missions;
• Assist in GS data budget analysis and documentation;
• Support integration and verification activities;
• Contribute to innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness;
• Participate in technical meetings.
