Un'agenzia di selezione personale cerca un Restaurant General Manager per una nuova apertura a Milano. Il candidato ideale avrà esperienza nella gestione di ristoranti e dovrà garantire che tutte le attività siano conformi agli standard di qualità. Sarà responsabile della gestione del personale, dell'approvvigionamento e della supervisione operativa del ristorante, contribuendo al successo dell'azienda.

Competenze

  • Minimo 4 anni di esperienza in un ruolo simile o 8 anni in posizione di secondo livello di gestione.
  • Fluente in italiano e inglese sia parlato che scritto.

Posizione

Karriere, Head Hunter Company (Aut. Min. 131 / 2018) operating in the F&B industry and also in the luxury business, has the target to identify a Restaurant General Manager for a new opening.

The Role

The General Manager will be in charge for all activities of the to finalize the next opening.

This includes :

  • Food and Beverage management financial targets, as
  • Budget & P&L proposal
  • Ensure all suppliers are competitive in price and quality and monitor competitors.
  • Monitor and cost out all breakages on weekly basis and introduce preventative measures i.e.; storage.
  • Food and Beverage operations, as
  • Ensure the restaurant is set up and ready for opening.
  • Equally ensure the restaurant will set up and ready for opening & cleared and tidy at close each operative days
  • Define and propose wines and spirits and other beverage for the start up and daily, weekly and monthly basis while constantly monitoring quality and ensuring correct delivery and storage of items with Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Ensure effective stock rotation, oversee the laundry delivery and ice delivery.
  • Compliance with restaurant security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Human Resources Management, as
  • Set staff job description and define group / individual targets to improve sales.
  • Define and organize the Training and development of the restaurant team.
  • Manage trial period, performance management appraisals (mid-year / annual)
  • Organize and hold staff & kitchen meetings every weekly and opening days; morning to discuss issues arising, sales, customer satisfaction, idea’s.
  • Ensure all staff are using hygienic methods of preparation and storage of all bar products
  • Ensure staff uniforms are always clean and ironed, shoes polished.
  • Management of guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • To liaise with the Head Chef or in their absence the Sous Chef regarding daily bookings, daily specials and up-selling of certain dishes.
Requisiti

  • Fluent in Italian and English (Written & spoken) is essential; other language will be a plus
