A global translation services provider is seeking freelance linguists to translate from Simplified Chinese into Italian, particularly in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience in translation and MTPE. Responsibilities include translating technical documents and collaborating with Project Managers. This position is remote and requires attention to detail and professionalism under tight deadlines. Competenze

• Must have a degree or equivalent in relevant fields.

Mansioni

Overview

In order to meet the translation needs of our international clients, we are currently looking to expand our database of freelance linguists who translate: From Simplified Chinese into Italian in Technical: Automotive User Manual/UO/UX. This job involves collaborating with Project Managers to complete translation and MTPE projects in the specified subject matters.

Responsibilities

• Translate from Simplified Chinese to Italian in Technical: Automotive User Manual/UO/UX.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to complete translation and MTPE projects.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Simplified Chinese and native-level proficiency in Italian.
• Specialized in Simplified Chinese into Italian translation, MTPE.
• Ability to use CAT tools.
• Experience in MTPE service (MUST).
• Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines.

Candidates MUST also have any ONE of the following

• A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
• 2 years of translation experience and a college degree;
• 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or
• A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
