About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to join our Italian team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations supporting both local and regional reporting. The ideal candidate has solid accounting experience excellent analytical skills and a hands-on approach to managing daily finance activities in a fast-paced international environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Prepare and review journal entries accruals and adjustments.
• Support monthly quarterly and annual financial closings.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with external accountants auditors and tax advisors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Italian statutory requirements and company accounting policies.
• Monitor and manage cash flow bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the EMEA finance team.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in an international company.
• Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and familiarity with IFRS principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite SAP or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (both written and verbal).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
