The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, excellent communication skills in English and Italian, and the ability to work independently. This role includes travel within the region and occasional weekend support.

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer Emilia Romagna, who will conduct service, repair, and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines the most cost-effective solutions. Escalates complex issues to higher levels of technical support or quality reporting systems. May develop new customer service/product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory. Demonstrates the ability to utilize critical thinking and analysis to make decisions, solve problems, and implement solutions. Must communicate effectively, listen honestly, and create empathy with customers, colleagues, and collaborators.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or Biotech Technical/Electronic Secondary School Diploma.
  • Open to travel within Emilia Romagna; a valid driving license is mandatory.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Italian.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
