Your mission

Being a Field Service Engineer (FSE) in Central South Italy (possible locations are Lazio / Umbria / Marche) is an exciting role since you are the superhero our clients need. You know what to do, so do not hesitate to speak directly with them to ensure our solutions satisfy their needs. Here are your most important tasks:

  • Take ownership of dispatched customer issues.
  • Support resources dispatched onsite by RFM during commissioning and on-site services.
  • Support the RFM / PjM during commissioning and site acceptance services.
  • Deliver support and contribute service solutions for our customers.
  • Perform all on-site installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks, as well as upgrades or rework activities.
  • Follow operational procedures, processes, and practices as defined, documented, and consistently applied.
  • Follow applicable health and safety instructions and regulations.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation, work instructions, and processes for existing and upcoming service contracts and agreements.
  • Support Europe Service Management by providing frequent and analytical service reports with each job and suggest corrective activities.
  • Support resources dispatched onsite (FSE and SP) by RFM during commissioning and on-site services.
  • Participate in claim management and RMA processes.
  • Manage service tools by ensuring proper calibration processes.
  • Take on-call duties, partly on weekends and nights, on a rotating basis.

Your profile

To feel comfortable in this role, you should have the following background:

  • Education as an Electrical Technician or Engineer. You should understand AC/DC, Low/Medium Voltage, etc. Knowledge of electrical conduits is also beneficial.
  • Italian & English language skills at least at B2 level.
  • Experience with Battery Storage solutions is beneficial.
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
  • A valid driving license is essential.
  • H&S training for access to construction sites with electrical-specific training.
  • Willingness to work on call and travel (up to 60%).
