Job Summary
Field Application Specialist | IVDs | Italy and EMEA (hybrid position)
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- You will visit and assist Italian and EMEA customers for the in vitro diagnostic platforms (NAAT & immunoassays) in the Meridian portfolio.
- You will organize and deliver wellness visits to customers’ laboratories.
- You will provide on-site specialized/application assistance – pre- and post-sales, also collaborating in the training of product users.
- You will take care of onsite instrument installation, customer training, and follow-up as well as product demonstrations.
- You will address customers’ needs, providing direct support in cooperation with our salespeople or by activating internal support channels.
- You will contribute to post-sales direct problem-solving through method applications or troubleshooting, or by activating the specific technical service to achieve customer satisfaction.
- You will contribute to the critical reading of scientific literature to build a solid scientific base to better interact with customers and KOLs (biologists, clinicians, gastroenterologists, infectious disease specialists).
- You will collect technical information on competitor products/systems and maintain a constant flow of information with the line manager and the sales functions.
- You will regularly update the Company CRM with details about all activities performed at customer sites.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in biology, biotechnology or equivalent
- Italian native / English good
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- Skilled use of computers
- Good analytical skills and demonstrated autonomy
- Previous experience in the role and/or laboratory expertise with NAAT and/or Microbiology will be evaluated
