A renowned fashion house in Italy is seeking a professional to assist with the logistics of international art exhibitions. Responsibilities include preparing exhibition materials, managing artwork logistics, and liaising with transporters and exhibitors. Candidates must possess a degree in Art History or related fields, have at least 2 years of experience in exhibitions, and have excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in English (C1) and good Italian are required, with knowledge of French or Chinese as a plus.

Competenze

  • At least 2 years of experience in international exhibitions, preferably in Fashion.
  • Excellent knowledge of international art lending and transportation procedures.
  • Availability for business trips.

  • Assist in the preparation and documentation of exhibition materials.

  • Manage the logistics of loaning artworks.
  • Liaise with transporters for objects and artworks.

Job Description
  • Assistance in the preparation and documentation of exhibition materials.
  • Drafting detailed object descriptions and carefully managing inventory lists.
  • Management of the logistics of loaning artworks.
  • Liaising and coordinating with transporters for objects and artworks.
  • Interfacing and liaising with exhibitors, particularly regarding paperwork and insurance coverage.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Art History/Museology/Cultural Management or related field.
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in international exhibitions (preferably if Fashion).
  • Excellent knowledge of international art lending, packaging, and transportation procedures.
  • Availability for business trips.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure, meeting strict deadlines.
  • Excellent English knowledge (at least C1 level) as well as Italian speaking (good proficiency).
  • Knowledge of a third language (French and/or Chinese) is an advantage but optional.
