Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consulting is searching for an international Food Ingredients Company with a global network of plants, sales offices, and R&D centres. Position: General Manager Food Ingredients Europe.

Location : Northern Italy onsite

This is a Business-to-Business role. Please apply only if you have experience in Flavours, Colours, Extracts, dried fruit and vegetables, and other value-added Food Ingredients, and not FMCG/HORECA.

Responsibilities
  • You will be in charge of Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, NPD.
  • You are a specialist in Food Ingredients.
  • Develop strategies and formulate annual business plan; set market share objectives.
  • Lead a larger team: Finance, Operations, Sales, Business Development, R&D, NPD, etc.
  • Develop, lead, and manage all commercial activities of the business and implement an innovative, growth-focused commercial strategy.
  • Focus on new product areas and emerging markets.
  • Ensure profitable business growth and that commercial success is achieved.
  • Drive the entire business operations for the Food Business with focus on top-line and bottom-line performance; increase revenues and profitability.
Requirements
  • MBA from a reputed institute; 15–20 years of work experience in the Food B2B industry.
  • Responsible for driving the entire business operations for the Food Business with focus on top line and bottom line performance.
  • Experience as GM in Europe for Food Ingredients.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
