We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) for our Office in Agrate Brianca, Italy,
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- You develop plans, designs, and cost estimates for electrical systems in high-tech facilities within the semiconductor industry, demonstrating familiarity with market material and labor costs
- You collaborate closely with customers to clarify technical details for facility modifications or expansions and present solutions
- You prepare execution documents (drawings, functional descriptions, technical specifications, and bills of quantities) for procurement of assembly and planning services and address any questions during execution
- You manage project scope, quality, and schedule, supporting project management in developing and potentially adjusting project timelines
- You coordinate with external partners to ensure the highest quality of implementation and compliance with safety, health, and environmental protection requirements
- You define and coordinate interfaces, ensuring a reliable flow of information internally and externally
- You participate in meetings, factory acceptance tests, and on-site acceptance tests
- You accompany the installation of electrical systems
Show your expertise
- You have successfully completed a degree or technical education in electrical engineering or possess another equivalent technical qualification
- Ideally, 2-3 years of professional experience in planning, construction, maintenance, or commissioning of electrical systems in the semiconductor industry
- You are familiar with local market material and labor costs
- Knowledge of specific design and calculations like lighting calculations for normal and emergency lighting
- Familiarity with electrical design and analysis software (e.g., Ampere Prof. ETAP, PowerFactory, EasyPower. Dialux) as well as with relevant technical standards, regulations and codes for the semiconductor industry
- You enjoy working in an international team and speak fluent Italian and English
- You possess strong teamwork skills, initiative, dedication, and a high degree of flexibility (e.g., travel to customers, suppliers, and construction sites).
- Proficiency in common PC programs and MS Office applications
