A global construction management firm is seeking an Offshore Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in the field. The role involves ensuring technical integrity of commissioning plans, supporting design and execution activities, and coordinating teams during startup. Excellent English communication skills are required. This opportunity is based in Assago, Italy.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in the sought discipline after earning the university degree.
• Minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.

Electrical Engineer - (Offshore) - Energy, Oil & Gas Project

Hill International provides program, project, and construction management services for clients in a range of sectors undertaking major construction projects across the world. Our services include cost engineering and estimating, quality assurance, inspection, scheduling, risk management, and claims avoidance.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Technical integrity of the commissioning plan
• Ensure that Commissioning activities are well specified into the project program.
• Provide commissioning input into the design and execution activities
• Support the development of safe and effective commissioning plan and procedures, together with discipline engineers and operations personnel
• Assisting in the application of the relevant I ISEQ procedures during commissioning
• Monitoring and controlling teams performing commissioning and start up work assuring they meet commissioning plan requirements
• Coordinating contractors and contractors support during commissioning and start up activities.
• Assisting Operations team during start up

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited university
• Work experience of 5+ years in the sought discipline after earning the university degree
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience in offshore projects
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports
