A leading engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an offshore project in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical integrity of the commissioning plan, ensuring effective commissioning activities, and coordinating support during start-up. A Bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of relevant experience, including minimum 3 years in offshore projects, are mandatory. Proficiency in English is essential.

• 5+ years of work experience in electrical engineering after degree.
• Minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience in offshore projects.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Technical integrity of the commissioning plan.
• Ensure that Commissioning activities are well specified into the project program.
• Provide commissioning input into the design and execution activities.
• Support the development of safe and effective commissioning plan and procedures, together with discipline engineers and operations personnel.
• Assisting in the application of the relevant I ISEQ procedures during commissioning.
• Monitoring and controlling teams performing commissioning and start up work assuring they meet commissioning plan requirements.
• Coordinating contractors and contractors support during commissioning and start up activities.
• Assisting Operations team during start up.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited university.
• Work experience of 5+ years in the sought discipline after earning the university degree.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
