Responsibilities
To strengthen the internal structure at our Technical and Production Department, at our HQ in Monza, we are looking for a candidate to join the Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment Department who will be responsible for the following activities:
- a) In the development phase of new projects or revamping of existing plants: selecting process instrumentation and gas analysis systems in accordance with legislative requirements and company standards.
- b) For all Italian/foreign plants and for systems installed at Customers' premises: coordination, in close contact with local technicians, of the various management/maintenance/troubleshooting activities for all issues relating to analysis systems and process instrumentation installed at the Group's production units, in Italy/Abroad, intervening upon request in case of problems; defining periodic/predictive maintenance programs, agreeing upon them with the technicians of the various Units, supporting them in organizing and sourcing spare parts from suppliers, and planning periodic assistance activities with external companies; assisting the Group's various Production Units during inspections carried out by supervisory bodies that involve analysis systems, preparing the sheets for the control, verification, and calibration procedures of gas analysis systems, and keeping them updated based on regulatory developments and findings during inspections by the relevant bodies; planning of update/maintenance activities for installed instrumentation and systems, to ensure full functionality and correspondence with market needs and the technological evolution of the systems over time.
- c) Managing and maintaining relationships/training: of our local technical staff, conducting technical training activities; managing relations with suppliers of instrumentation and analysis systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the field of process instrumentation and gas analysis systems.
- Educational qualification with an electrical engineering and/or automation specialization (a technical/scientific university degree will be a plus).
- Good knowledge of English (knowledge of a second language such as French and/or German will be a plus).
- Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
