Job Description
Data Ingestion & Quality Management Analyst
The data ingestion and quality management analyst will be responsible for ensuring effective governance, management, and continuous improvement of reinsurance data flows from GEB Network Partners, focusing primarily on operational data ingestion, quality validation, and automation of processes.
Main accountabilities
1. Data Ingestion and Quality Assurance
- Manage and oversee the ingestion of all data flows from Network Partners, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient processing
- Conduct thorough quality checks and validations to ensure accuracy and integrity of the reinsurance data
- Identify discrepancies, errors, and areas of improvement, proactively addressing issues to maintain high standards of data quality
- Cooperate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and smooth data ingestion and keep aligned on progress and issues, and mitigation actions
2. Continuous Improvement and Automation
- Collaborate closely with IT teams to develop, implement, and maintain automated solutions for data ingestion and quality validation processes
- Actively participate in process review sessions, providing insights and identifying opportunities to reduce manual tasks through digitization and automation
- Contribute to defining requirements for enhancements to current data ingestion platforms and tools, ensuring alignment with operational objectives
- Drive initiatives aimed at optimizing operational efficiency through continuous feedback and active cooperation with IT stakeholders
3. Network Partner Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Network Partners regarding data ingestion requirements, processes, system access, and technical support
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Network Partners and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient data exchange processes
4. Other Related Duties
- Support internal and external audits related to reinsurance data processes and quality standards
- Assist in developing internal tools aimed at streamlining departmental workflows and enhancing operational effectiveness
Requirements
Desirable skills & competencies
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Data Ingestion and Data analysis tools.
- Proactive mindset, capable of identifying improvement opportunities and driving automation initiatives.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and resilience in managing operational deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with both technical (IT) and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable qualifications & background
- 4 years of experience in data management, data ingestion processes, or quality assurance
- Experience collaborating with IT teams on automation projects or operational enhancements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in insurance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related fields
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required by business needs
- Fluent in English, any other language would be considered an asset
This is a permanent and full-time position, based in Assago (close to Milan, Italy).
