For our Data Team, we are seeking a Data Engineer with a strong foundation in software engineering to contribute to the development of robust data systems and pipelines. This role emphasizes delivering high-performance, maintainable, and scalable solutions while actively engaging in code reviews, design discussions, and best practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following modern software engineering principles.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Take part in on‑call rotations to ensure system stability.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in programming languages like Scala/Java/Kotlin/Python, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, such as test‑driven development, system design, and clean code practices.
• Experience with data streaming application, with Flink or Spark structured streaming and Kafka.
• Familiarity with data batch frameworks like Apache Spark orchestrated with Airflow.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
