The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of customs compliance experience, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills. Y our Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Customs Compliance Specialist to join our global trade and compliance team. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to international customs regulations and corporate compliance standards across all regions where the company operates. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of customs laws, import/export procedures, and trade compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain corporate customs compliance policies and procedures in alignment with global regulations.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in customs legislation and assess their impact on company operations.
  • Provide guidance and training to regional teams on customs compliance requirements.
  • Oversee classification of goods, valuation, and origin determination to ensure accurate customs declarations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Legal, Finance) and external partners (brokers, authorities) to resolve compliance issues.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments related to customs activities.
  • Manage relationships with customs authorities and represent the company during audits or inquiries.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize customs processes and reduce compliance risks.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customs compliance within a multinational environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of global customs regulations, HS classification, and trade agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in compliance software and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
