A prominent construction firm is seeking a candidate in Fano, Italy, to manage the execution of mechanical works within the Neptune project. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the HSE Manager. Ideal candidates will oversee project scheduling and report on progress, directly contributing to the project’s success.

Location: ITALY - Fano; ROMANIA - Tuzla

Mission

Organise, coordinate, and control the execution of mechanical works, whether performed by subcontractors or direct hires. Ensure proper management of interfaces with all construction disciplines and engineering departments. Oversee the availability of construction materials and equipment, and verify that works are carried out correctly according to project documentation and schedule. Ensure full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures.

Tasks

• Support the HSE Manager in areas within their responsibility and assist in preparing the general HSE plan.
• Ensure all activities within your area are compliant with HSE requirements.
• Participate in Safety Walkdowns and contribute to incident investigations.
• Verify that commissioning and start-up requirements are included in engineering documents.
• Participate in project planning and scheduling.
• Review vendor schedules and assignments related to commissioning, start-up, and testing activities.
• Follow up on completions and commissioning activities.
• Issue progress reports for your area of responsibility.
• Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance routines, and assign resources, materials, and logistics.
• Oversee your team responsible for Preventive, Condition-Based, and Corrective Maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors on-site within your operational area.
• Approve work orders following Permit to Work procedures to facilitate scheduled works.
• Ensure proper implementation of mechanical isolation controls via the Blinding and De-blinding Register.
• Lead personnel training efforts, identify training gaps, and report them timely.
• Optimize maintenance plans, spare parts, and manpower based on plant feedback.
