Job Summary

The Client Advisor is the face of J.P. Morgan's Private Banking business. This role contributes to business growth through deepening and retention by leveraging broad knowledge of investments, banking, lending, and financial planning. The Advisor communicates market strategies, investment insights to clients, and consults with them to determine their portfolio objectives and long-term asset allocations. The investment universe includes Fixed Income, Equities, Alternatives, and global Multi-Asset mandates. This role also focuses on delivering an exceptional client experience and coordinating resources to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions. Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain client relationships by earning trust, understanding needs, providing targeted advice, developing solutions, and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
  2. Drive business results by deepening existing relationships and acquiring new assets from new and current clients.
  3. Ensure client accounts are properly maintained and compliant with J.P. Morgan's risk, control, regulatory, and security standards.
  4. Understand client goals to develop and implement investment plans, including holistic asset allocation, investment management, portfolio construction, tactical shifts, wealth planning, and banking needs.
  5. Conduct investment reviews, validate objectives, prepare recommendations, and ensure solutions meet client needs through a holistic, goals-based planning approach.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Several years of experience in Private Banking working with high and ultra-high net worth Italian individuals, including family businesses, entrepreneurs, executives, family offices, and endowments.
  • Strong network and reputation within the Italian private client sphere.
  • Experience in business development, profiling, negotiation, and proactive referral solicitation.
  • Knowledge of investments, credit, banking, and wealth advisory concepts, including asset allocation, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, trust and estate products, and wealth planning opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of equity, fixed income markets, and alternative investments like Hedge Funds and Private Equity.
  • Achievement-oriented with attention to detail and a focus on exceeding business goals.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in asset allocation/multi-asset class portfolios or sales is preferable.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus.
