A technology company located in Treviso, Italy, is seeking a CAD Mechanical Designer with a strong knowledge of SolidWorks and experience in the mechanical design of plastic parts. Responsibilities include managing design processes, working on PCB layout using Altium, and collaborating with the electronics team. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a mechanical field and 3-4 years of relevant experience. Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork attitude are essential for this role.

About the Role

Due to international growth, we are now recruiting for a talented

CAD Mechanical Designer (Solidworks)

Fulltime: Treviso, Italy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical design of plastic parts using SolidWorks for solid modeling and surfacing;
• Early analysis of injection molding and participation in prototyping phases (3D printing, mock-up, functional testing);
• PCB layout Design using dedicated electronic CAD (Altium);
• Understand industrialization regulations and standards to optimize drawing practices, ensuring compliance and efficiency in the design mechanical process;
• Coordinate with the electronics team to optimize the mechanical integration of PCB, cabling and electronic modules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in mechanical field or equivalent;
• At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role;

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of SolidWorks and knowledge of the injection molding process for plastic materials;
• Knowledge of Altium circuit electronic design tool preferred;
• Read technical drawings (dimensional tolerances);
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Attitude for teamwork and propensity to work in an international environment;
• Proactive attitude towards teamwork and ability to work in an international environment;
• Adapt to new technologies and frameworks as needed.
