We are looking for an experienced Buying Manager Beauty to join our Buying team based in Brugherio (MB) – Italy. Reporting into the Senior Manager Merchandising and Planning, you will oversee the development and expansion of QVC's brand strategy for the Beauty area.

You will lead and develop a team of Buyers, Junior Buyers, and Assistant Buyers responsible for growing and maximizing product ranges.

As our Buying Manager Beauty at QVC, you will :

• Develop the product strategy for your category, driving newness by identifying and translating trends with our customer in mind.
• Foster a curated assortment that aligns with the QVC brand and multiplatform strategy across proprietary and national brands.
• Oversee focus on newness/external trends, support identifying growth brands, and acquire exclusive products.
• Lead vendor and supplier sourcing and management ensuring compliance.
• Manage OTB, review sales plans, budgets, and forecasts, reacting to customer trends and trading environments.
• Analyze customer metrics and apply insights.
• Collaborate with market teams.
• Manage the buying team in daily activities and tasks.
• Define strategic team structures with the Senior Manager to optimize the business.
• Create goals and foster an environment that motivates employees to achieve them.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of the buying team, following QVC principles.
• Set short- and long-term team goals aligned with department and business objectives.
• Inspire a team of brand ambassadors, especially in vendor interactions.

Requirements

• Mandatory B2C experience in Beauty.
• At least 6 years of experience in buying.
• Interest in the Beauty environment.
• Strategic thinking related to budget setting, reconciliation, and forecast analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.
