Overview
For our TOPCON Positioning Solutions BU - Italy we are looking for a Business Development Manager Building Construction.
Responsibilities
- Business development expert in Topcon’s Building Construction solutions.
- Creating and maintaining business within a specific region by finding and managing relevant distribution channels.
- Commercial expert in our Building Construction solutions.
- Finding new and managing existing distributors for our Building Construction solutions.
- Promote our Building Construction solutions by various publicity and visibility activities, and work with our Marketing Team on strategic marketing activities.
- Create and drive a strategic business plan for our Building Construction solutions within a specific country / region.
- Proactively work with Product Management to ensure our solution meets customer expectations and market potential.
- Proactively work with our Operations Team to ensure the logistics, ordering and delivery activities are optimized.
Education & Experience
- Fluent English.
- Driving license, willingness to travel.
- Experience with finding and managing distribution partners. Practical experience with construction projects, especially software and data workflows.
- Familiar with modern construction practices.
- Confident and convincing appearance with our business partners, excellent communication skills, experience with sales and marketing activities.
- 50% or more of the time and managing people is a core duty of the job.
Working Conditions
- Remote working, therefore motivated and independent. Flexible for travelling.
- Comfortable with both construction management and construction sites / workers.
- 50 % traveling.
