A leading probiotics company is seeking a Business Development Manager in Origgio (VA), responsible for developing the customer portfolio and implementing sales strategies. The role requires a degree in a technical or economic field, 1-3 years of experience in the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical sector, and excellent communication skills, with a willingness to travel. Synbalance, a leading company in the probiotics sector, is looking for a Business Development Manager.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the selected candidate will be mainly responsible for :

  • Developing the customer portfolio and carrying out client scouting activities;
  • Defining sales strategies in the assigned territories;
  • Collecting all necessary information for customer profiling and for analyzing customer activities in order to achieve sales targets;
  • Managing existing customers and developing the assigned territories;
  • Defining budgets, sales targets, and commercial strategies for the assigned area in collaboration with the Sales Director;
  • Supporting the management of customer complaints;
  • Handling customer support requests and coordinating activities with other departments;
  • Providing technical and commercial support to distributors;
  • Monitoring and managing quotations and offers;
  • Preparing customer reports.
Requirements
  • Degree in a technical-scientific or economic field;
  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical sector, with experience in international markets;
  • Excellent knowledge of English; a second European or non-European language is a plus;
  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities;
  • High organizational and decision-making flexibility;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues;
  • Dynamic, proactive, precise, and punctual approach to work;
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong results orientation;
  • Willingness to travel.

The contractual terms and compensation package will be assessed individually, based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, and experience.
