IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a bioinformatician (junior or senior level) to join the Laboratory of Molecular Neurobiology (Group Leader, Dr. Dario Bonanomi). The lab investigates neurovascular mechanisms that regulate nervous system physiology and pathology, with a focus on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and nerve repair Martins et al., 2022 Bhat et al., 2024 Ruiz de Almodovar et al., 2025.
The work will be carried out within the framework of a recently awarded ERC Synergy Grant, offering opportunities for international collaboration and scientific exchange.
The successful candidate will also interact closely with the Center for Omics Sciences of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, which brings together a large community of bioinformaticians and provides an ideal collaborative environment for exchange of expertise and bioinformatics skills development.
Analysis of transcriptomic datasets to explore the crosstalk between vascular, neuronal, and immune cells at neurovascular interfaces in health and disease.
Strong interest in biological data interpretation.
Expertise in neuroscience and/or vascular biology is a plus.
