The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in backend development, preferably in the banking sector, and be proficient in Java/J2EE, Agile methodologies, and SQL database interactions. This role involves developing REST and SOAP services and operating with application servers in a collaborative Agile environment.

Job Description :

Responsibilities

• Backend development in Java/J2EE environment in a 24/7 setting (preferably within banking sector)
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP services
• Participate in unit testing, Test Driven Development and integration testing with Spring components
• Collaborate in an Agile environment and follow Agile ways of working
• Work with code and issue versioning tools (Azure DevOps and Git) and manage source control
• Operate with application servers and containers (JBoss and Tomcat)
• Develop and optimize database interactions using SQL (Oracle, PL/SQL)
• Utilize IT technologies effectively and communicate in English (written and spoken); proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience in the same role in a 24/7 environment, preferably within banking sector
• Proven skills in the Agile way of working
• Proven experience in application development with Java on the J2EE platform, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Advanced experience in REST & SOAP application services development
• JUnit testing, Test Driven Development and Spring Integration testing
• Good knowledge of issue and code versioning tools (Azure and Git)
• Knowledge with JBoss application server and Tomcat container
• Good knowledge of DBMS and SQL (Oracle, PL/SQL)
• Good knowledge of IT technologies
• Good English level (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
