A leading aerospace firm is seeking an Avionic/Functional Architect to define and design avionic systems. This role requires strong knowledge in Model Based System Engineering and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering and previous experience in the space sector. This is a full-time position based in Piemonte, Torino, with opportunities for career development.

The Candidate shall define the conceptual avionic architectures (Power, Data Handling, Guidance and Navigation and Communications), their system and subsystem requirements and shall follow the avionic design implementation in accordance with the requirements and the Customer needs. The Candidate shall start from the initial main mission objectives and develop the operational, logical and functional architectures, correlating them with the system and subsystem requirements. The Candidate shall operate in the frame of MBSE / ARCADIA methodology. The candidate shall operate inside a system level core team and interface with the Agencies and Customers, therefore he shall have peculiar communication skills, pro-active attitude in facing and solving problems and inclination to team working. He has to have a solid cultural base in avionic field such to be able to define and manage in a short time a complex avionic system design.
