A leading creative agency in Milan seeks a passionate AI Art Director to join their team. The role involves leading the creation of AI-driven creative concepts for luxury digital campaigns, collaborating with project management and CGI teams to ensure visual excellence. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in AI ideation and visual execution, demonstrated through a compelling portfolio. This is a full-time position based on-site in Milan, emphasizing innovative execution without traditional design workflows.

We are looking for a passionate and creative AI Art Director to join our team in Milan.

We only consider candidates for our Milan office. Remote working is not contemplated for this role.

You will work side-by-side with our Project Management teams to ensure creative consistency and production efficiency across all delivery phases.

We are specifically searching for a profile able to work 100% with AI tools, with deep expertise in creating mock-ups, visual concepts, look-and-feel explorations, and pitch materials entirely through AI — without traditional design workflows.

Main Responsibilities

• lead and execute creative concepts for digital campaigns, owning the full AI mock-up creation process
• design high-quality pitch decks and director’s treatments that communicate ideas clearly and impactfully
• collaborate with CGI and Digital teams to produce AI-generated assets, references, and visual mock-ups for campaigns, especially in the luxury sectors (fashion, beauty, and jewelry)
• ensure visual excellence and flawless execution, in line with the CACTUS aesthetic

Qualifications

• strong understanding of CGI workflows, paired with a premium eye for high-end and luxury aesthetics
• advanced ability in AI ideation and visual execution using tools such as Flora, Kling, Midjourney, Runway, krea, GPT and Adobe AI features
• a portfolio demonstrating artistic sensibility, brand storytelling skills, and experience with fashion and luxury narratives
• based in Milan or willing to relocate

Bonus Points

• knowledge of motion design tools such as premiere pro and after effects
• French language skills are a plus
• strong passion for visual culture and iconography
