Position: Aftermarket Analyst
Location: Milano, Italy

Role

Aftermarket (Business) Analyst to drive profitable growth and customer satisfaction in the aftermarket business by transforming data into actionable insights, optimizing pricing and marketing strategies, and fostering collaboration across Parts, Service, and Sales teams to ensure timely support, reduced equipment downtime, and a stronger market position. You will be based in Milano, Italy, and report directly to the Regional Aftermarket Manager for Southern Europe.

Main Responsibilities
  • Be an active part of the Aftermarket team and collaborate with Parts and Service Specialists to enhance customer experience and reduce downtimes by timely reacting to inquiries related to spare parts, service appointments, warranties, and maintenance contracts.
  • Collect, analyze and interpret aftermarket sales data (parts, service, maintenance contracts) to monitor trends and identify performance gaps.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track revenue, margin and market share for parts and services.
  • Evaluate equipment population data to forecast parts demand and service needs.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports with actionable insights for management.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support the warranty process of equipment, including initiating claims and gathering the necessary information for a proper technical resolution.
  • Support customers with all technical and regulatory documentation required for machine homologation and compliance with local authorities.
  • Support the administrative processes of the service department, including job order creation, service contract management, and cost control.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies for parts to maximize profitability while remaining competitive and analyze the impact of price changes and promotions on margin and sales volume.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Language: fluency in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a sales or marketing support role.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems. Experience with SAP is a plus.
