Overview

Keywords Studios Italy, a Keywords Group company, provides international media localization, translation, voice recording, localization testing and international content creation services through its network of project managers, recording studios, and selected linguists around the world.

Role and responsibilities

• The Accounting Supervisor, reporting to the Regional Accounting Manager, will be included the central multi-lingual accounting team operating from Milan and supporting subsidiaries in different countries, acting as supervisor for the Italian entities.
• The role requires flexibility and capacity of relationship with different departments as well as external consultants.

Requirements

• ACCOUNTING
• Month end process, such as accrual, deferral, payroll journals
• Fixed assets amortization, IFRS and local gaap
• Accounting supervision and processing
• Assistance for Internal audit
• Preparation of statutory accounts and financial statements
• Trial balance review

• FISCAL
• Income tax accruals
• Preparation of details for the annual Income tax return
• Supervision of the tax compliance and review of the taxes made by the Accountants

• STATUTORY
• VAT monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Withholding tax reports for 3rd parties (CU)
• Knowledge of statutory bodies requirements
• Statutory Audit

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience as Senior Accountant
• Diploma in accounting and / or degree in economics
• Knowledge of main IFRS principles
• Experience analysing financial transactions and preparing reports
• Fluent in English (C1 / C2)
• Ability to cope under pressure and to work to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of ERP’s
• MS Excel skills and in general good IT systems skills
• Knowledege of Netsuite is a plus
