We are seeking an experienced
- Accountant
- to assist the Accounting Manager in managing day-to-day operations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close, working closely with FSSC in Singapore.
Main Responsibilities
- General Ledger
- Perform month-end general ledger close and financial reporting using Navision system.
- Collaborate with FSSC GL team to maintain GL and audit reconciliation schedules in Excel and Blackline.
- Prepare journal entries for general ledgers.
- Assist in preparing monthly IFRS financial statements for submission to head office.
- Handle local statutory reporting and filing, including Intrastat and Conai reports.
- Support external and internal audits.
- Assist with intercompany and bank reconciliations.
- Fixed Assets
- Coordinate with operational and FSSC fixed asset teams to maintain the fixed assets register and process related activities.
- Account Payables
- Ensure AP status is up-to-date, including accruals.
- Maintain prepayment and aged AP listings with FSSC AP team.
- Follow up on expense policy adherence with HR and local teams.
- Process invoices, including coding and discrepancy resolution.
- Account Receivables
- Work with FSS AR team and customers to reduce overdue AR.
- SAP S4 Hana
- Participate in S4 design, adoption, and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in multinational and/or manufacturing companies.
- Proficiency in SAP, Navision, Oracle, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
