THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and develop our business relationships in Italy. Reporting to the Head of Sales, Europe, the Account Manager will work in partnership with Customer Service to effectively grow and manage business relationships to maximize sales. The incumbent will be responsible for securing new dealers, onboarding them to the sales program, achieving sales targets and providing excellent service for the Italian market.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Achieve the sales objectives for the designated territory.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales, EU to forecast sales by account and by month.
  • Manage account relationships and communications.
  • Develop relationships with potential dealers and facilitate the opening of a new account with internal stakeholders.
  • Clearly explain the sales program, including terms and conditions offered to dealers, to secure sales orders.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure orders are properly entered in the ERP and warranty claims are handled in a timely fashion.
  • Analyze sales data and collaborate with the Head of Sales, EU to adapt the sales strategies according to the health of the account.
  • Collaborate with marketing to activate key dealers, attend events and coordinate demos in territory to help drive sales conversion at dealers.
  • Manage territory travel and expense budget.
  • Inform the appropriate persons (Product, R&D, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) of customer feedback with regards to price, products, quality, service, logistics, etc.
  • Maintain product features and technical knowledge up-to-date on various product lines.
  • Contribute to improving the internal processes to ensure quality service to customers.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience working in B2B sales, bike industry experience an asset.
  • Strong understanding of the cycling market and customer needs.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing customer accounts.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Italian language skills.
