Axis has something great to offer! We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Italian sales team. This is a remote based role based in the Bologna area.

What will you do as Account Manager

As an Account Manager your responsibility will be to promote and to sell Axis solutions and products. You will do this by building a strong partner landscape in variety of Business Segments where your focus will be to identify recruit and manage these partners. The position requires you to spend time in the field to educate both current and potential partners through for example partner meetings site surveys seminars trainings webinars and events. The Account Manager will work closely with the rest of our SalesTeam to create the best possible sales process.

Travels in the North and Center regions in Italy and sometimes international travels are required.

Your main activities will include:
  • Identify and manage strategic partners
  • Develop a business plan for the responsible area
  • Cooperates with both marketing team and the rest of the sales team to develop business
  • Actively participate in trade shows seminars academies webinars and other promotional sales activities
  • Takes responsibility for supporting with trainings and partner event
  • Coach and train customers on new tools and / or new solutions launched to approach the market
  • Set annual targets with your manager and continuously follow up KPIs.
Who are we looking for

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated team player with high ambitions and an ability to take initiatives. You have a strong technical background and have experience from working with indirect sales preferably in a technical sales position from the IT or security industry. You are pro‑active in your work and have ability to manage time and prioritize.

Apart from this we would like you to see if you have / are:
  • Degree in Business Administration / Engineering
  • 5 years in the role of sales
  • Good understanding of 2 tier sales model
  • Strong account management and team‑building skills
  • Proven ability to build strategic and trusted relationships
  • Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience in the IT industry
  • Knowledge of the physical or cyber security market will be an advantage
  • Fluency in Italian
  • Good understanding in English
