• 5+ years of experience in a tax leadership role, preferably in the energy/power industry.
• USKP Tax Consultant License Level B is a must.
• Tax & Customs Court Legal Counsel is preferable.

About the role

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Department Head to join our team at PT Datang DSSP Power Indonesia in central Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related functions and ensuring our compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Manage a team of tax professionals and oversee all tax planning, preparation, and filing activities
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tax returns and payments
• Provide strategic tax advice and guidance to senior management on tax optimisation opportunities
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and implement necessary process improvements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to tax matters
• Represent the company in tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant tax authorities

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting or tax
• 5+ years of experience in a tax leadership role, preferably in the energy/power industry
• Have USKP Tax Consultant License Level B is a must
• Have a Tax & Customs Court Legal Counsel is preferable
• Excellent knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of tax professionals
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (can speak Mandarin is an advantage)
