Overview

Our client is a multinational manufacturer and exporter of fashion lingerie and swimwear, founded in 1992 in Hong Kong. They specialize in manufacturing and designing intimate apparel and are known globally as a leading provider of bra solutions. With over 30,000 employees worldwide and major factories in Bangladesh, China, and Indonesia (Klaten), they are seeking a Mechanic Head (Bonding) to strengthen their engineering and maintenance team at the Klaten factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the in-line mechanic team for sewing (needle-and-thread) machines.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance standards to maximize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and work-aids for production.
• Provide technical direction and solutions for machine-related issues.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in garment manufacturing (lingerie, bonding, or knits), with at least 5 years in a managerial/executive role.
• Strong knowledge of needle-and-thread machinery and garment mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of all sewing machine functions and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia & English.
• Strong leadership, discipline, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable and able to operate PC using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
