Job summary

A leading hotel in Jakarta is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to assist the Director of Finance in managing all aspects of the Finance Department. Responsibilities include financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting or Finance and 2–3 years of experience in the hospitality or service industry, along with advanced Excel skills. This role plays a key leadership role in maintaining financial accountability.

Qualifications

The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Director of Finance in managing all aspects of the Finance Department, including financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, compliance, and internal controls. This role ensures the integrity of financial information, assists in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provides financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision‑making. The Assistant Finance Manager plays a key leadership role in maintaining accountability, supporting departmental leaders, and ensuring the hotel operates efficiently and in line with Hyatt and ownership expectations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in hospitality or a service industry.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems skills (experience with Hyatt systems such as BirchStreet, Hyperion, or equivalent preferred).
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
