About AKP
Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy (AKP), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the philanthropic arm of Abercrombie & Kent (A&K). The organization traces its beginnings back to 1982 when A&K Founder, Geoffrey Kent, first raised funds for conservation efforts in the Masai Mara National Reserve of Kenya. Today, AKP carries on A&K’s social and environmental commitments on a global scale with approximately 46 projects in 24 countries across all seven continents. AKP aims to help nature to thrive and cultures to flourish by positively impacting lives and livelihoods in the communities where Abercrombie & Kent guests travel. Through dedicated strategic investments in education, conservation, healthcare and enterprise, we inspire our guests and staff to actively support our philanthropic endeavors.
AKP has been working in Southeast Asia for two decades, in partnership with the communities where A&K guests travel. Find out more at www.akphilanthropy.org
