Position Summary: A Weld Team Member is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all fabrications. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the maintenance, calibration, and repair of all machines and measurement devices in the Fabrication Dept. Metal defense work on stainless steel and aluminum.

Position Responsibilities:

• Must pass hand written and physical weld test
• Must have strong TIG welding experience with mild steel plate and tube stock
• Stainless, Aluminum & TIG welding experience is a plus
• Maintain an organized system of detail including the assembly prints on the plant floor
• Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement activities
• Efficiently process all work that is released to the fabrication department while maintaining safety and quality
• Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the fabrication dept
• Maintain and do light repairs of all equipment in the Fabrication areas, including participation in the preventative maintenance program

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have own tools including welding helmet
• Possess blue print reading abilities
• Possess welding skills – Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Must have the ability and willingness to learn from and train other employees
• Develop fixtures for all standard parts to improve efficiencies, quality & safety
• Report quality and safety concerns and or issues to team leader in a timely manner
• High School Diploma
• Clear background check
• Clear drug test
