Role Overview:

As an Untamed Brand Ambassador, you’ll be on the frontlines promoting our premium cat food subscription service to cat parents at top events across the UK.

We’re looking for engaging and driven individuals who can thrive in a customer-facing role, that enjoy attending high-quality events of all kinds, and that get excited by the prospect of conversing with potential customers to introduce them to everything Untamed has to offer.

All training is provided. Licensed drivers with their own car is preferable (mileage paid at £.40/mile), but not required. Ambassadors with their own cars and that have the ability to help with event setups will earn between £60-£100 more per shift. Sales experience is a major advantage, but is not required.

Most direct sales teams are commission-only. Untamed is not.

We offer a £15/hr base rate plus a £10 per sale commission, combined with other performance based cash bonuses. Untamed ambassadors can expect to earn £200+ per shift (based on a 7hr event with 1-2 sale(s) per hour). A ‘sale’ is defined as a new customer sign-up to our £7 Trial Box.

Managed by a professional team that has been part of some of the top direct sales teams in Europe, the Untamed Direct Sales Department has vowed to treat every ambassador as the valuable asset they are. Our hybrid pay proposition is designed to remove the common stressors associated with the commission-only model that many direct-selling teams offer.

Role Responsibilities:

- Represent the ‘Untamed’ brand at a range of events across the UK

- Drive the acquisition of new business for Untamed by engaging with potential customers & promoting the purchase of our introductory £7 Trial Offer

- Achieve (and hopefully exceed) the 7 sales per shift (SPS) benchmark - striving to hit both individual and team targets

- Introduce cat parents to the benefits of Untamed products, spreading the word about the importance of our high quality ingredients for a high quality life

- Build quality relationships with our customers through ethical values and honest communication to improve their long-term retention

About you:

A People Person -. Are you a conversationalist that can engage with people from all walks of life? If you can imagine speaking to droves of event-goers about how amazing Untamed cat food is - then we want you! We’re after people that are personable, compassionate, and highly likeable. ????????

A Pet Person - Someone who understands pets, their owners, and the value that four-legged friends bring to human lives. Having a pet or being a cat parent isn’t mandatory for this role, but it can be advantageous. We just need you to have an understanding of how important a pet can be to their person.

Sales Experience - A BIG bonus, but not mandatory. Someone who is able to understand the Untamed brand and its vision, and then can convey to a potential customer how Untamed could be (and probably is) the right fit for them and their cat - that’s who we’re after. ????

Motivated & Target Driven - The more cats you feed, the more money you earn - it’s that simple. Staying motivated and driving toward hitting your (personal and team) targets is so important. We’ll give you all the support and tools you’ll need, but you need to stay hungry.

Team Player - Untamed Ambassadors work together, for everyone’s benefit. From setup to pack down, we do it all together. Unsure of a fact about our products? Just ask your teammate. Sure, each ambassador is working to make money for themselves, but we want people that respect each other and work well together.

Weekend availability - The majority of our major events take place over the weekend. So, being available means: more shifts = more sales = more money. Purrfect.

What Untamed can do for you:

Financial peace of mind - Most direct sales roles are commission-only, which can be stressful on so many levels.. At Untamed, we offer a base hourly rate of £15 per hour, with uncapped commission of £10 per trial sold. Those hitting our forecasted target SPS will easily earn £175-£200 per shift. Anyone exceeding target can expect to earn £225+ per shift. We feel our hybrid system (hourly base + commission) gives our ambassadors peace of mind and alleviates many of the stressors that a commission-only sales role comes with. ️

Bonus opportunities & incentives - We want to be sure our ambassadors benefit from helping us hit our targets. So, we regularly offer additional monetary and prize-based incentives to help keep the team chugging along. For ambassadors that drive and/or can help set up and take down our event equipment - we pay handsomely.

Variety - At Untamed, no event is the same. Our ambassadors benefit from a renewed energy that comes from every new event and opportunity. Ranging from food festivals to county shows - each working day as part of the Untamed team looks different to the last. Who doesn’t want to take their office outside on a sunny day? ️

Flexible Work - Our Brand Ambassadors are all self-employed freelancers, which means they can claim shifts that fit in with their schedule. Alongside ongoing support, we’ll work with each ambassador to keep them busy when they have the time to join us.

Training & Ambassador Support - Our management team all have vast experience as brand ambassadors, and we aim to do all that we can to put you in a position for success. Once onboarded, ambassadors will liaise with their supervisors regularly to ensure they’re getting the ongoing developmental support they need. A lot of time and resource goes into recruitment and onboarding, so we’d be foolish not to cultivate the talent we bring aboard.
