Hydrop E.C.S., part of the Celnor Group, is a leading independent consultancy specialising in water quality and safety management. Founded in 1991, we are UKAS‑accredited for Legionella Risk Assessments and are widely respected across the UK and internationally.
We are looking for a confident and technically capable Legionella Water Risk Assessor to join our consultancy team. You’ll play a key role in delivering best‑in‑class assessments, documentation, and advisory services to our clients—helping them manage risk from Legionella, Pseudomonas, and other waterborne pathogens.
In the first 6 months you will be conducting detailed Risk Assessment Surveys for Legionella, Pseudomonas, and other waterborne pathogens.
Upon completion of ongoing training, your development will enable you to begin offering the following services :
- Developing Water Safety Plans, Policies, and Management & Procedural Documentation.
- Designing and implement Pre‑Planned Maintenance Programme Schedules.
- Providing impartial and expert guidance on Water Treatment Regimes.
- Delivering Design Verification, Installation Compliance, and Handover Management for new builds and refurbishments
- Managing complex, bespoke projects with precision and client focus.
- Experience as a water risk assessor
- Suitable qualifications in water hygiene, microbiology, environmental science, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate scientific reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
- Degree in a relevant scientific or environmental discipline
- Experience working within healthcare environments
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with compliance frameworks
