You will assist in the project delivery process from design to handover and manage all engineering activities. Are you an Assistant Project Manager looking for a long-term opportunity within major water and utilities projects or looking for your first role in project delivery? We are supporting a growing engineering company as they continue to strengthen their delivery capability across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity to work multidisciplinary schemes, ensuring safe, efficient, and integrated project delivery while contributing to essential water-sector infrastructure.
Assist project delivery from detailed design through to installation, commissioning, and final handover.
Manage engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning activities across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation disciplines.
Assist with programme, budget, resource planning and risk management to ensure projects are delivered to scope and performance targets.
Work closely with civil, commercial and operational teams to ensure fully coordinated delivery across all project stages.
Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance across sites and subcontract activities.
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners to drive collaborative and efficient project outcomes.
Support continuous improvement by promoting best practice in engineering and project controls.
Ideally experience working on projects within the water, wastewater or utilities sectors.
Basic understanding of MEICA systems, installation methodologies, commissioning processes and operational interfaces.
Promising leadership, communication and coordination skills, with a proactive and delivery-driven approach.
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors within a live construction or process-environment setting.
Relevant engineering or project management qualifications (Degree, HNC / HND, APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
SMSTS, CSCS and / or EUSR Water Hygiene desirable.
