A community healthcare provider in Leatherhead seeks a Specialist School Nurse to support children with complex health needs. You'll provide expert training to staff, oversee nursing care, and ensure effective communication with families. The ideal candidate has a nurse qualification, two years' experience, and knowledge of Child Protection policies. This role offers competitive pay and professional growth opportunities.
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Specialist School Nurse to oversee the healthcare provision for children and young people aged 2-19 with severe, profound, and multiple learning and physical difficulties. In this role, you will offer expert training, guidance, and support to school staff, parents, and carers, ensuring the best possible care for every child. You will also take a lead role in managing and supporting the school nurse and assistant practitioner within your team, helping to create a collaborative, nurturing environment where everyone can thrive.
This role is Term Time only and is based at Woodlands School in Leatherhead.
