A veterinary practice in North East England is seeking an experienced mixed animal veterinary surgeon. The role offers a supportive environment, a varied caseload, and a salary review system. An independent veterinary practice with over 100 years of history is looking for an experienced mixed animal veterinary surgeon to join their fantastic team. They offer a friendly and supportive work environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, modern medicine and surgery. Based in the heart of North East England, ideally located with easy access to transport links, city life, countryside, and coast.
The caseload is approximately 85% small animals, 10% equine, and 5% farm work, though a small animal-only role is also available.
After working a weeknight on call (Monday to Thursday), you’ll have the following afternoon off. You’ll enjoy a minimum of six weeks of paid annual leave, with your birthday also given off once you’ve completed a successful six-month probation.
The role requires the ability to drive a manual vehicle in the UK. They are looking for someone enthusiastic and ready to grow in a welcoming, experienced, and passionate environment.
